Crow About Cherry Valley

Back by popular demand, our fabulous display of straw men and women returns for a second round of fall festive fun. See more more information and view the scarecrows

Voting ends this Saturday, October 25 at Noon!
The top three scarecrows (as of Oct. 23 at 1pm) are: #21, #28, and #20.

Anyone can vote for their favorite scarecrow at the library and selected downtown locations for a $1 per vote suggested donation. Votes can be placed online by visiting the Library's Epay Site. Select "Fundraiser - Scarecrow Voting" on the site.

Winning scarecrows will be announced at the end of the Village's Halloween Parade on Saturday, October 25.

This group is for iPad owners who have mastered the basics and wish to learn new tips and tricks, ask questions, or share your favorite apps. We are using the "Tips & Tricks: iPad Secrets" app by Intelligenti Ltd ($2.99) to learn more about our favorite mobile device!

Sunday, November 2 at 2 PM - Learn about the first 20 years of the 20th Century in Winnebago County; a time of great change and prosperity, followed by war and its aftermath. Robert Lindvall, former Winnebago County law librarian and local historian will provide an interesting perspective.
