Summer Reading Club

Sign up for our Summer Reading Clubs for all ages! Last day to sign up is Wednesday, July 3rd. Click on a link below for more information about our programs for those 18 and under.

Dig Into Reading - Ages 2 to 11

Beneath the Surface - Teens ages 12 to 18

Groundbreaking READS - Summer Reading Club for adults of all ages - Register on the Adult side of the library, then stop by the library each week to enter a drawing slip for each book you have read. Weekly drawing winners receive a gift certificate to an area business. A weekly word game or puzzle gives you a second chance to win a prize. The last day to register for the adult reading club is July 3 and drawings begin June 10 and continue through July 26.

Computer Classes

Learn new computer skills or brush up on your knowledge. Free computer classes are offered to Cherry Valley card holders. A $5 refundable deposit holds your place in the classes. Patrons from other libraries only pay $5 per class!

Saturday, June 22 from 1 to 3 PM - Learn more about searching for your family's history, including new features from the 1940 census. You can begin your research by learning to use Ancestry Library Edition, a database available at the Cherry Valley Library.

Before class, stop by the library to pick up (or download here) a family history worksheet to complete and bring to class.
