Summer Reading Club is simple; you read books and earn prizes! Program registration begins on Tuesday, March 28. Stop by the library to sign up for the reading club and any of the daily programs you wish to attend.

• Teens ages 12 to 18 (grades 6-11) may participate in the Summer Reading Club.

• Each teen registers at the Summer Reading Club table on the children's side of the library.

• Programs run June 10 to July 26.

• Teens receive a logbook to record the number of pages read over the summer.

• Teens sign a contract with the Teen Librarian to set a summer reading goal of at least 2000 pages by July 26.

• Record pages read at the library and receive a different prize for each week.

• Teens who finish their reading contract goal by July 26 will receive free paperback book and a ticket to the final party at the Northeast Family YMCA.

• The last day to register for Summer Reading Club is July 3.

Reading Goal Party at Northeast Family YMCA

	Saturday, July 27 from 6:30 to 9:30 PM - Reading Goal Party at the Northeast Family YMCA Each child who finishes his/her reading goal by July 26 will be able to attend our party on July 27. Enjoy 3 hours of swimming, basketball, the climbing wall, bounce house, and inflatable obstacle course!

Summer Reading Club participation is free to Cherry Valley Library card holders. Out-of-district fee for participation is $10 per child or $25 per family.
